Privacy Policy

Celestial Spheres is developed by Map of Truth as an educational astronomy simulator. This policy explains the data practices for the app and this support website.
Information We Collect
The app may store preferences on your device, such as model, language, units, playback speed, saved Observatory coordinates, and Pro entitlement status. These preferences remain on your device. Celestial Spheres does not require an account and contains no advertising, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking.
Location
Location access is optional and is requested only when you choose Use My Location. The app uses it to calculate your local horizon and sky. You can instead enter a city or coordinates manually.
External Astronomy Services
The Comets and Asteroids tools may contact public NASA/JPL services for close-approach and ephemeris data. When you request an object in your Observatory sky, your selected latitude, longitude, and elevation are included in that NASA/JPL Horizons query so it can calculate the local sky position. Solar imagery may be requested from the public Helioviewer API using the selected observation date and time; Observatory location is not included in that request. Like any internet request, these services may receive standard network information such as your IP address. We do not use these requests for advertising or tracking.
Purchases
Pro purchases are processed by the official store from which you install the app, including the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Microsoft Store. The store returns product and entitlement status to the app. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Support
If you contact us by email, we use your message and email address only to respond to your request.
